Help with the ChatGPT connection
Access help, source corrections, and privacy requests.
Contact Ron
Email ron@snyderjr.com. The Guide is personally maintained; support is handled by email. It is not an emergency service.
Include a brief description, the approximate time and time zone, and any error message. A redacted screenshot can help. Do not send passwords, verification codes, access tokens, full authorization URLs, or private resident records.
I cannot sign in or connect
Use the email associated with your Guide access and complete verification on the sign-in page. If you see an expired link or “Invalid request,” start a fresh connection attempt from ChatGPT instead of reusing the old sign-in link.
If the error continues, email Ron with the error text and whether it happened before sign-in, after sign-in, or after authorizing access. Do not include the full URL from the sign-in page.
If resident verification fails, ask for access help. Do not send your community-portal password or identity documents by email.
An answer or source looks wrong
Send the topic, the cited document title or public link, and a description of what appears incorrect. Avoid including private source text or resident details. For a time-sensitive matter, check the original publication or contact the appropriate official community office.
A community-portal link may require a separate sign-in. If a source is unavailable, the Guide cannot establish what that source currently says.
I want to disconnect or request deletion
Use ChatGPT’s connection settings to disconnect the Guide. This stops use through that connection; it does not automatically erase Guide-side records or your ChatGPT conversation history.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your Guide-side personal data, email Ron from the address associated with your account and state what you want changed or removed. Ron may ask you to verify control of that address before acting. Do not email passwords or verification codes.
The Guide website and ChatGPT integration share resident account records. If your request would remove access to both, Ron will explain that before completing an account deletion. ChatGPT conversation history must be managed separately in ChatGPT. See the privacy policy for storage and retention details.
Report a privacy or security issue
Email Ron with a brief description and enough non-sensitive detail to locate the problem. Avoid sending private data as proof. If you discover access to someone else’s information, stop accessing it and report what happened.
Recommendations and other write requests
The ChatGPT connection can answer questions and retrieve supporting sources. It cannot submit a vendor recommendation, contact an administrator, or change a community record.
